Star Wars for adidas

adidas are preparing to release a STAR WARS™ collection in the summer of 2010 having teamed up with Lucasfilm Ltd. Embracing the iconic film, not for the first time we can expect a collection of footwear and apparel that reflect an interesting angle where the sportswear label and film come together in an intriguing way. Be sure to hear a lot more prior to the release in January, but in the meantime enjoy the tease above.

HOP x Kostas Seremetis Tee’s

Kostas Seremetis is without a doubt one of my favourite artists of all time. He is a true artist who very rarely puts his name and pen to commercial or fashion products, but when he does, and has done so in the past with the likes of Neighborhood, it turns out incredibly well. This week see’s the release of HOP(through The Hideout), a new brand featuring collaborative efforts from Kostas Seremetis. We’re looking forward to seeing more.

Nike Blazer Hi Electrolime

Nike implements a metallic theme to their latest pair of Blazers, slated for a December 2009 drop. The kicks are fully equipped with a metallic silver upper, tonal swoosh, and a hit of Electrolime on the laces, heel, and outsoles with black accenting throughout. This new colorway is arguably one of the hotter Blazer releases scheduled to hit Footlocker retail locations, thus far.

Omelle Shoes Autumn/Winter 2009

With their second collection Nicole Lafave and Cherise Agnelle of Omelle are establishing as a true design force in the footwear industry with a collection featuring styles that are of course’ conversation pieces’, but also showcase true talent, innovation and good taste.
Inspired by ‘Favorite’ things, the Autumn/Winter’09 collection illustrates Nicole LaFave’s background in knitwear, featuring knits incorporated into the shoes and her fascination with pockets, combined with her graphic design background and paper envelope obsession. I would wear any of these styles. Available in late August , take a closer look at the Omelle Autumn/Winter 2009 collection on the next page.
