Quick Fix Ups
Don’t you hate it when that happens?
Here’s every girl’s prevent it and fix it guide!
#1 You’re out having fun there’s friends, that cute boy you’ve been eyeing at the bar, drinks, music and your face is shining brighter than your lip-gloss! Don’t panic! The easiest thing to do is: Dab your nose and cheeks with a toilet seat cover (you can use toilet paper or those gross paper napkins as your last resort), make sure not to rub or it will smear.
#2 Is your hair a mess? Don’t stress! If you have short hair: pin it back behind your ears with bobby pins, leave the back messy it’ll look like that’s what you were going for when you left your house. If you have medium to long hair: a quick French braid is the way to go, it’s cute and it goes with any outfit! (Don’t forget there’s side braids too!)
#3 Living in the fast lane? Then this kit is a must: a small make-up bag with deodorant (spray is better… it wont melt), mascara, a standard red or pink lipstick, a razor (just in case, because you never know!), a body mist to keep you smelling like a girl should, and a small travel hairbrush.
#4 Your hair is dirty and there’s no time for a shower… we’ve got the answer: BABY POWDER start at the roots and comb it through.
#5 OOPS! You dropped your compact powder… BREATHE! The best thing to do to fix this is add 3 to 4 small drops of alcohol and smooth it out with a butter knife wait a few hours until its dry and you’ve got compact powder. Too bad this won’t fix the mirror!
#6 Ever had one of those last minute meetings and you need to slip on a pair of pantyhose but the ones you’ve got have a run? Clear nail polish does the trick! Quickly paint over the edges to keep it from running further down. Stop the breach before it spreads!
#7 Have a sexy dress but can’t wear a bra? Say no to N.H.O.! Use medical tape as pasties, it’ll keep from showing through the dress unlike Band-Aids and regular tape.
#8 Primer means longer! Apply a light coat of primer on your eyelids before you apply your eye make-up, this will keep your make-up looking fresh and dark the whole day (You can find this product at any make-up store)
#9 Make your eyes look bigger and stand out more with white eyeliner. Apply a thin line on your bottom lid to get this effect then apply your regular eye make-up.
# 10 Remember this: Water and Oil DON’T mix! Use warm olive oil on the tips of your hair (make sure it’s dry) to have healthier hair without spending too much. Dip the comb in the warm oil and comb from half of your hair down to your tips this will help your split ends...put a shower cap on and relax for about 10 minutes then wash your hair. You don’t need to use conditioner! Oh yeah…be careful about not slipping on the oil while in the shower!
